| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho estuda o tratamento do conteúdo jornalístico sobre Angola na redação do jornal Diário de Notícias, onde realizei um estágio curricular durante quase três meses. Este relatório foca-se na análise dos critérios noticiosos utilizados pelos jornalistas, faz referência aos valores-notícia de seleção e de construção e invoca a teoria do gatekeeping, fatores importantes no desenvolvimento da atividade jornalística. O gatekeeper é considerado o protagonista de todo o processo de seleção,construção e produção noticiosa que utiliza os critérios de notícias, guiados pelos valores da notícia, para o auxiliar no processo. O relatório está organizado em três partes: no primeiro capítulo, faz-se uma abordagem ao jornalismo internacional e à relação entre Portugal e Angola; o segundo capítulo incide na entidade de acolhimento, o jornal Diário de Notícias, e na realização do estágio curricular; o terceiro, e último, capítulo é o mais importante e contempla toda a análise que foi feita durante o estágio que se prende com a recolha das notícias, divulgadas no website do jornal, e com as entrevistas realizadas a alguns jornalistas para aferir algumas ideias sobre o tratamento jornalístico na redação do jornal. Por fim, rematamos a investigação com as nossas reflexões e com a utilidade deste trabalho, não só a nível profissional como a nível pessoal. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: The present paper aims to study the treatment of news content regarding Angola in the Diário de Notícias newsroom, where a curricular internship took place over the course of almost hree months. This report is focused on the analysis of the news report criteria used by reporters,makes reference to the selection and building of news-values and invokes the theory of gatekeeping, all of the above important factors in the development of the news reporting activity. The gatekeeper is considered to be the leading figure in the entire process of selecting, building and producing news reports, and he resorts to news criteria, guided by news value, to help him along the process. This report is divided into three phases: in the very first chapter, an approach to the international journalism and the relationship between Portugal and Angola; the second chapter sheds lights on the host organization, the Diário de Notícias newspaper, and on the curricular internship itself; the third and final chapter is the most important one and is the piece that contemplates the entire analysis made during the internship which goes along the lines of news collecting that were disclosed on the newspaper’s website, and with the interviews made to some reporters in order to gather their views on the journalistic treatment regarding Angola in the organization’s newsroom. Finally, we end this investigation with a collection of final thoughts on the investigation itself and how it’s been useful both personally and professionally. | en |
