Abstract(s)
O presente relatório surge no âmbito da Prática Profissional Supervisionada II do 2º
ano do curso de Mestrado em Educação Pré-escolar e pretende abordar de forma reflexiva a
prática levada a cabo ao longo do período de estágio, evidenciando as aprendizagens feitas
e as intenções concretizadas, em contexto de Jardim de infância, com um grupo de vinte e
quatro crianças com idades compreendidas entre os 3 e os 6 anos.
É ainda apresentada uma pequena investigação, sobretudo de natureza qualitativa,
que dá nome ao relatório, “As ciências experimentais no jardim de infância: as estórias
como suporte”. A investigação emergiu de um interesse manifestado pelas crianças,
observado durante a PPS II. A metodologia utilizada inclui a investigação-ação, para dar
resposta a duas questões:
- Promover procedimentos experimentais através de estórias;
- Identificar as aprendizagens através das estórias e experiências efetuadas.
Durante toda a prática tive a possibilidade de desenvolver uma miscelânea de atividades,
tencionando, tanto quanto possível, ir ao encontro do interesse das crianças e conseguir
alcançar as intenções junto daquelas, das suas famílias e também da equipa educativa.
Importa referir também a importância de todas as aprendizagens efetuadas junto da
educadora cooperante. Concretamente acerca da investigação-ação, os resultados
apresentados indicam uma orientação no sentido de se pensar que o uso de estórias
possibilita a realização de aprendizagens na área das ciências experimentais.
ABSTRACT This report is part of the Supervised Professional Practice II of the 2nd. year of the Master's course in Pre-school Education and aims to reflect on the practice carried out during the internship period, highlighting the lessons learned and the intentions achieved, in the context of kindergarten, with a group of twenty-four children aged between 3 years and 6 years. A research, mainly qualitative is also conveyed which gives the report its name, “Experimental sciences in kindergarten: stories as a support”. The research emerged from an interest expressed by the children observed during PPS II. The methodology used included action-research, to answer two questions: - Promote experimental procedures through stories; - Identify the learning through the stories and experiences made. Throughout the practice, I had the possibility to develop a mix of activities, that, as much as possible, met the interests of children and achieve the intentions with the children, their families and also the educational team. It is also important to mention the importance of all the lessons learned from the cooperating kindergarten teacher. Specifically, the results in the action-research methodology presented, demonstrated clues that supports the evidence that the use of stories enables learning in the field of experimental sciences.
