Abstract(s)
Com este artigo pretende-se apresentar um projeto de investigação-
ação desenvolvido no ano letivo de 2016/2017 e que deu origem
a uma dissertação do Curso de Mestrado em Didáticas Integradas em
Língua Portuguesa, Matemática, Ciências Naturais e Sociais, com o título
Estudo do Meio: a construção de uma prática integradora.
O projeto foi implementado numa turma de 4.º ano do 1.º Ciclo do
Ensino Básico (CEB), tendo subjacente duas finalidades: (i) ensaiar a
conceção, implementação e avaliação de um projeto de integração curricular
no 1.º CEB; e, (ii) evidenciar as competências que um professor
deve mobilizar para promover um projeto desta natureza.
Assim, neste texto, serão apresentados (i) os objetivos definidos; (ii)
as estratégias adotadas; (iii) a avaliação das aprendizagens; e, (iv) as
potencialidades da investigação-ação enquanto processo formativo do
professor.
O estudo aponta para (i) as potencialidades do Estudo do Meio, enquanto
área disciplinar integrada e integradora do currículo do 1.º CEB;
(ii) a relevância das práticas de integração curricular, particularmente
pelas competências que se desenvolvem nos alunos; (iii) a importância
da participação dos alunos, envolvendo-os ativamente na construção das suas aprendizagens; e, (iv) o papel da investigação-ação como
metodologia formativa para um professor desenvolver processos de
reflexão crítica, tendo em vista introduzir mudanças nas suas práticas.
Abstract The following article aims to present a project of action-research developed in 2016/2017, that was the basis of a master thesis in Integrated Didactics in Portuguese Language, Mathematics, Natural and Social Sciences; with the title Social Environment Studies: the construction of an integrated practice. The project was put in practice in a 4th grade class of the 1st cycle in Basic Education (CEB), aiming: (i) experience the construction, implementation and evaluation of a curricular integrated project in the 1st CEB; (ii) show the competences that a teacher should mobilize to promote a project with this nature. Therefore, in this text, it will be present: (i) the goals; (ii) the strategies adopted; (iii) learning evaluation; and (iv) the potentialities from an action-research in the teacher training process. The study shows: (i) Social Environment potentialities, as a disciplinary field integrated and integrative in the 1st CEB curriculum; ii) the importance of integrating curricular practices, namely the competences that may be developed in the students; (iii) the importance of students participation, taking active part in the learning process construction; and (iv) the role of action-research as a formative methodology for a teacher to develop critical thinking, aiming to introduce changes in his practices.
