Abstract(s)
Os alunos que apresentam dificuldades intelectuais e desenvolvimentais são
abrangidos por um currículo específico individual, planeado de acordo com as suas
capacidades funcionais e os seus interesses. Os currículos funcionais têm também em
consideração os contextos onde o aluno está inserido, procurando proporcionar
aprendizagens significativas para o desenvolvimento pessoal e social e promover o
processo da transição para a vida ativa com autonomia e independência, de forma a
assegurar o direito a uma vida de qualidade.
O presente estudo engloba o desenvolvimento de atividades funcionais através
da implementação de três manuais personalizados de competências funcionais para
três alunos com Currículo Específico Individual. O estudo tem como objetivo geral saber
se a construção e o uso quotidiano de um manual personalizado de apoio à aquisição
de competências funcionais para um aluno com Currículo Específico Individual pode
potenciar o seu desenvolvimento pessoal e social.
Para tal, estruturou-se um projeto de intervenção, na lógica investigação/ação.
Para elaborar o plano de intervenção, recorreu-se à análise documental, a conversas
informais e a entrevistas aos professores e alunos em estudo.
O plano de intervenção e os manuais personalizados foram elaborados de
acordo com os interesses e capacidades funcionais dos alunos, centrando-se em
atividades do dia-a-dia, selecionadas a partir da análise dos interesses, gostos e
necessidades dos alunos em estudo.
Após a intervenção, aferiu-se através de entrevista a opinião dos professores e
dos alunos participantes, sobre a funcionalidade do manual personalizado de
competências funcionais.
Concluiu-se que a implementação do manual potenciou o desenvolvimento
pessoal e social dos alunos participantes. Considerou-se também que a sua estrutura
poderia ser usada com outros alunos com Currículo Específico Individual, adaptando os
conteúdos de acordo com as capacidades funcionais, necessidades e interesses dos
alunos.
ABSTRACT Students who have intellectual and developmental difficulties are covered by a specific individual curriculum, planned according to their functional abilities and interests. Functional curriculum also take into account the contexts in which the student is inserted, seeking to provide meaningful learning for personal and social development and to promote the process of transition to active life with autonomy and independence, in order to ensure the right to a life of quality. The present study encompasses the development of functional tasks through the implementation of three customized functional competency manuals for three students with Individual Specific Curriculum. The general objective of the study is to know if the construction and the daily use of a personalized manual to support the acquisition of functional competences for a student with Individual Specific Curriculum can enhance their personal and social development. For this goal, a project of intervention was structured, in the logic investigation/action. In order to prepare the intervention plan, we used documentary analysis, informal conversations and interviews with teachers and students under study. The intervention plan and the customized manuals were elaborated according to the interests and functional capacities of the students, focusing on day-to-day activities, selected from the analysis of the interests, tastes and needs of the students under study. After the intervention, the opinion of the teachers and of the participants was checked through the interview about the functionality of the individual manual of functional competences. It was concluded that the implementation of the manual enhanced the personal and social development of the participating students. It was also considered that its structure could be used with other students with Individual Specific Curriculum, adapting the contents according to the functional capacities, needs and interests of the students.
