This report presents a critical and reflective analysis developed within the scope of Supervised Professional Practice II (PPSII), carried out in a preschool setting that is part of a Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS), with a group of 25 children aged between 3 and 6 years. The aim of this report is to reflect on the experiences lived, the strategies implemented, the challenges faced, and the learning outcomes achieved — not only in terms of professional development, but also regarding the understanding of the educator’s role as a promoter of children's overall development. With regard to my research, it was conducted using a qualitative Action Research methodology, aiming to address the following research question: “Can games contribute to minimizing conflicts among children?” The objectives established for this study were: i) To analyze the use of games as a strategy to support conflict resolution among children; ii) To identify the main causes of conflicts among children in the classroom; iii) To understand the educator’s approach when addressing conflict situations; iv) To promote the development of social skills within the group through the use of games as an educational strategy. This research process prompted a deep reflection on my own pedagogical approach and enabled me to gain a deeper understanding of the complex factors that influence children's behavior and development.
