Resumo I (Prática pedagógica) - Na primeira parte do Relatório de Estágio será apresentado todo o trabalho realizado com os alunos durante o Estágio em atividade que decorreu ao longo do 2º ano curricular do
Mestrado em Ensino da Música, realizado na Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa,
Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa.
Este estágio teve lugar no Pólo de Paço de Arcos da Escola de Música Nossa Senhora do
Cabo, com sede em Linda-a-Velha, Concelho de Oeiras.
O trabalho aqui apresentado foi realizado com três alunos com a maior diferença no nível
de aprendizagem possível entre si, uma aluna de iniciação, uma aluna de 5º ano e um
aluno de 8º ano.
Como reflexão sobre características da minha personalidade, distinguidas em pontos
considerados fortes ou negativos, apresentarei também uma análise SWOT. Esta análise
permite compreender determinadas escolhas e ações por vezes realizadas de forma
inconsciente, e pretende acima de tudo confrontar os aspetos considerados negativos em
prol de os trabalhar para que não tenham uma carga negativa no trabalho realizado
enquanto docente.
Para a avaliação deste estágio foram apresentadas as planificações anuais para cada um
destes alunos, bem como a planificação de cada aula decorrida no presente ano letivo,
2019/2020, foi também realizada, em registo audiovisual, a gravação de uma aula por
trimestre de cada aluno. Posteriormente estas gravações foram observadas e analisadas
com o Professor Coorientador João Pedro Duarte, com o objetivo de avaliar cada
momento de aula, tornando possível uma melhoria no cumprimento ou na realização dos
planos de aula, com base nos conselhos pedagógicos oferecidos pelo professor.
Uma vez concluído o estágio, foi elaborada uma reflexão crítica das práticas pedagógicas
utilizadas e dos resultados e objetivos alcançados.
Resumo II (Investigação) - Este projeto foi desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino da Música na Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa. O tema selecionado para este projeto é a introdução à música mista, isto é, para instrumento acústico e música composta através do recurso a meios eletrónicos, durante o ensino básico e secundário numa escola de Ensino Artístico Especializado. A recolha de dados foi realizada através de diferentes métodos, procurando alcançar resultados subjetivos através de entrevistas relacionadas com a experiência e uma amostra de dados mais objetiva que permitisse comprovar ou reprovar a possibilidade de inclusão do repertório de música mista nos programas de instrumento, neste caso específico de guitarra, na Escola de Música Nossa Senhora do cabo, onde estagiei e leciono. Embora este projeto tenha como objetivo principal testar a possibilidade de inserção deste repertório nos programas escolares, tanto de audições como curriculares, pretendo também avaliar a disponibilidade dos alunos envolvidos na investigação para este repertório e uma possível alteração dos níveis motivacionais provocados pela alteração na rotina muitas vezes aliada à seleção e interpretação do repertório canónico associado à aprendizagem da guitarra. Foi comprovada a possibilidade de inserção deste repertório com alunos da EMNSC, com base em diversos fatores colocados em causa e estudados através da recolha e análise de dados acima referida.
Abstract I (Teaching) - The thesis is divided into two distinct chapters, the first of which related to the Internship. In this first chapter, the Internship Report refers to all the activities undertaken with the students during the second curricular year of the master’s degree in music teaching, held at the Higher School of Music of Lisbon, Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon. This internship took place at the Pole of Paço de Arcos of the Music School Nossa Senhora do Cabo, based in Linda-a-Velha, Municipality of Oeiras. The activities presented here were carried out with three students possessing different degrees of music knowledge: a beginner, a 5th and an 8th grader. I will also present a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis as reflection of the characteristics of my personality distinguishing between the strong and weaker qualities. This analysis will contribute to the understanding of certain choices and actions, often undertaken unconsciously, and above all, it will contribute to approach the negative aspects by searching for solutions, so that they don’t outweigh the positive aspects of my work as a teacher. For the purposes of evaluation of this internship, an annual plan for each of the students was handed in, as well as the plan of each lesson that took place during the school year 2019/2020. As a complement to the lesson plans an audiovisual recording of a lesson, per school period and per student was also handed in, for the viewing and analysis by the Co-Advisor Professor João Pedro Duarte. The purpose of the analysis of the audiovisual recordings was the evaluation of each moment of the lesson in order to improve any aspect and contribute to the compliance of the lesson plans, based on the pedagogical advice given by the Professor. Once the internship was completed, a critical reflection was made of the pedagogical practices used and of the results and objectives obtained.
Abstract II (Research) - This project was developed within the framework of the master’s degree in Music Teaching, held at the Higher School of Music of Lisbon, Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon. The theme selected for this project is the introduction to mixed music, that is music for an acoustic instrument combined with electronic sound sources during primary and secondary school education in a specialized musical school. Data was collected using different method. With the purpose of achieving subjective results, interviews related to experience in mixed music were conducted, and for more objective results, a data sample was used to evaluate the likelihood of including mixed music repertoire in the instrument teaching programs, in this specific case that of the classical guitar at the school where I did my internship and teach, Escola de Música Nossa Senhora do Cabo. Although the main of objective of this project is to test the possibility of including this repertoire in school programs, curricular and auditions, it also intends to evaluate the predisposition, for this repertoire, of the students involved in this project and a possible change in motivational levels as an effect caused by the change in routine, often allied to the selection and interpretation of the canonical repertoire associated to the learning of the classical guitar. The possible inclusion of this repertoire was proved with EMNSC´s students, based on different factors, questioned and studied through the collection and analysis of data, mentioned above.
