Abstract(s)
O presente relatório foi realizado no âmbito da unidade curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada II, do mestrado em Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Português e História e Geografia de Portugal no 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
Neste documento descreve-se e reflete-se sobre a prática desenvolvida nos contextos de 1.º e 2.º Ciclos do Ensino Básico. É, também, apresentado um estudo desenvolvido no contexto de 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, intitulado Do Bairro à Cidade: projetos e itinerários na descoberta do meio local. Este estudo emerge da problemática A implementação de atividades investigativas centradas no meio local como estratégia estruturante do processo de ensino e aprendizagem do EM potencia, nos alunos, o desenvolvimento de competências de orientação e localização espacial, de autonomia e cooperação. São dois os objetivos gerais que orientam a investigação: (i) analisar os contributos da realização de atividades investigativas, centrados no meio local, para o desenvolvimento de competências de conhecimento dos lugares, orientação e localização espacial; (ii) compreender de que modo o envolvimento dos alunos em atividades investigativas permite o desenvolvimento de competências de autonomia e cooperação.
Em conformidade, utilizou-se uma metodologia de natureza qualitativa, com recurso a procedimentos próximos das fases definidas na metodologia de investigação-ação.
Os resultados obtidos confirmam que o envolvimento dos alunos em atividades investigativas, centradas no meio local e valorizando os seus interesses, transportam-nos para o conhecimento do meio onde vivem e potenciam o desenvolvimento de competências de orientação e localização espacial, de autonomia e cooperação.
ABSTRACT The presenting report was developed within the framework of the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice II, of the Master’s in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and of Portuguese and History and Geography of Portugal in the 2nd Cycle.of Basic Education. In this document describes and reflects about the developed practice in the contexts of 1st and 2nd Cycles of Basic Education. It’s also, introduced one study developed in the context of 1st Cycle of Basic Education, entitled From the Neighborhood to the City: projects and itineraries in the discovery of the local environment. There are two general goals guiding this research: (i) analyze the realized contributions of the investigative activities, centered on the local environment, for the development skills of knowledge from the places, orientation and spatial location; (ii) understanding how the involvement of the students in investigative activities allows the development skills of autonomy and cooperation. Accordingly, a methodology of a qualitative nature was used, using procedures near of the phases defined in the research-action methodology. The obtained results confirm that the students' involvement in research activities, centered on the local environment and valuing their interests, transport us for the knowledge of the environment where they live and enhance the development skills of orientation and spatial location, autonomy and cooperation.
