Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT - This essay is composed of three chapters: The storyteller; An empty space; The Space, the I and the Other – a prayer. The storyteller defends that it only exists one way to tell a story: not to know which story to will tell, but telling it either way. This process is, essentially, characterized by the constant attempt to remember. In this sense, memory and words are auxiliaries, but also deviant elements of the history’s trajectory. It is discussed the importance of action and static, which means to discover the story and what constitutes it. An empty space approaches the subject of vision and thinks about its relation to survival capacity. Hence, it’s debated the pertinence of what it’s small, since it contains the possibility of becoming the great desire. The following concepts are introduced: reality and idea, and their fragility are commented, as well as their role as agents of action; focus and change of focus, and in what way they depend on a serious attitude and, at the same time, less serious. In short, this chapter defends that “to be able to see is the beginning”. The Space, the I and the Other – a prayer questions the ability to stop time, in equation with The Space, the I and the Other, without killing it. In this sense, an effort is made to understand time under the prophecy’s perspective. Also, it’s presented the importance of the prayer as a practice in regard to silence the individual, so that he is able to hear “the one who speaks”. It’s referred, as well, the importance of presenting abstract thoughts in a concrete way. 10 On a second part, the individual’s dynamics in the space and its interferences with established codes are explored. Finally, two systems of languages are questioned: the horizontal and the vertical.
