dc.description.abstractO presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada II, integrante do plano de estudos do Mestrado em Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e Matemática e Ciências Naturais do 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. No que respeita à estrutura, este trabalho encontra-se dividido em duas partes. A primeira refere-se à descrição e análise reflexiva da prática pedagógica desenvolvida no 1.º CEB, numa turma de 4.º ano, e no 2.º CEB, em duas turmas do 6.º ano. A segunda parte corresponde ao estudo de natureza qualitativa desenvolvido com alunos da turma do 1.º CEB. O estudo, contemplado no relatório, procurou compreender que características possuem as tarefas matemáticas que podem influenciar as atitudes dos alunos. Neste sentido, a investigação foi orientada pela questão Que características possuem os problemas e as tarefas de investigação que podem influenciar a perseverança, o gosto e a confiança dos alunos? A nível metodológico, o estudo segue uma lógica semelhante à investigação-ação, tendo sido implementado no contexto dois problemas e duas investigações matemáticas com características distintas no que se refere: i) ao grau de abertura; ii) ao contexto; iii) à possibilidade de se recorrer a várias estratégias ou realizarem-se diversas descobertas; e iv) à utilização de material manipulável. Para a recolha dos dados, foram preenchidas, através da observação participante, grelhas com indicadores referentes às atitudes em estudo e realizado um grupo focal com os três participantes. A análise estatística e documental dos resultados, permitiu concluir que as características que podem influenciar negativamente as atitudes dos alunos são o contexto puramente matemático e o facto de uma tarefa não proporcionar o recurso a diferentes estratégias ou descobertas na sua realização. Pela sua influência positiva, destacaram-se as tarefas que têm como características diferenciadoras o contexto formulado a partir de situações reais, as que permitiam a utilização de material manipulável e as que possibilitavam o recurso a várias estratégias ou a formulação de diversas conjeturas.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThis report was written within the contexto of the Curricular Unit of Supervised Teaching Practice II, part of the study plan of the Master in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education. As far as structure is concerned, this work is divided into two parts. The first refers to the description and reflective analysis of the pedagogical practice developed in the 1st CBE, in a 4th year class, and in the 2nd CEB, in two 6th year classes. The second part corresponds to the qualitative study developed with the students from the 1st CBE class. The study, contemplated in this report, sought to understand what characteristics have the mathematical tasks that can influence the attitudes of the students. In this sense, the research was guided by the question What characteristics have the problems and mathematical investigations that can influence the perseverance, taste and confidence of students? At the methodological level, the study follows a logic similar to action research, having been implemented in the educational context two problems and two mathematical investigations with distinct characteristics regarding: i) the degree of openness; (ii) the context; (iii) the possibility of resorting to several strategies or making several discoveries; and (iv) the use of manipulable material. For data collection, grids with indicators referring to the attitudes under study were filled out through participant observation, and a focus group was conducted with the three participants. The statistical and documentary analysis of the results allowed to conclude that the characteristics that can negatively influence the attitudes of the students are the purely mathematical context and the fact that a task does not provide the use of different strategies or discoveries in its accomplishment. Due to its positive influence, is worth mentioning the tasks that have a context formulated from real situations, those that allow the use of manipulable material and those that allow the use of various strategies or the formulation of various conjectures.pt_PT
