Nesta Dissertação, irei abordar o impacto da tecnologia no crescimento e internacionalização empresarial de forma abrangente, com especial enfoque na empresa Prozis, uma renomada empresa no setor de nutrição desportiva e suplementos alimentares, que se destaca no âmbito tecnológico, logístico e de serviços. O intuito principal desta proposta é entender o impacto que a tecnologia deteve e detém para a respetiva empresa e revelar como a mesma, atualmente, incorpora, de modo estratégico, soluções tecnológicas para crescer e expandir-se globalmente. A metodologia utilizada irá abranger a revisão da bibliografia, um estudo de caso detalhado e entrevistas cruciais no âmbito de obter informações concretas. Os objetivos delineados são: compreender a importância do uso estratégico da tecnologia no contexto empresarial atual (1); verificar de que forma a tecnologia permite auxiliar no alcance de clientes em mercados internacionais (2); investigar o modus operandi da Prozis para aferir as estratégias que sustentam o seu crescimento e internacionalização (3); analisar os benefícios e as limitações da adoção de tecnologia pela Prozis, tendo em conta os seus resultados obtidos e o seu posicionamento de mercado (4). Este estudo visa contribuir significativamente para o avanço do conhecimento teórico neste domínio, enquanto oferece valiosas perspetivas práticas para empresas que desejam capitalizar a tecnologia como um elemento fundamental para o seu crescimento e sucesso nos mercados internacionais.
In this Dissertation, I will address the impact of technology on business growth and internationalization in a comprehensive way, with a special focus on the company Prozis, a renowned company in the sports nutrition and food supplements sector, which stands out in the technological, logistical and service fields. The main aim of this proposal is to understand the impact that technology has had and is having on the company and to reveal how it is currently strategically incorporating technological solutions in order to grow and expand globally. The methodology used will include a literature review, a detailed case study and crucial interviews in order to obtain concrete information. The objectives outlined are: to understand the importance of the strategic use of technology in today's business context (1); to verify how technology can help reach customers in international markets (2); to investigate Prozis' modus operandi in order to assess the strategies that support its growth and internationalization (3) and to analyze the benefits and limitations of Prozis' adoption of technology, taking into account its results and its market positioning (4). This study aims to make a significant contribution to advancing theoretical knowledge in this field, while offering valuable practical insights for companies wishing to capitalize on technology as a key element for their growth and internationalization.
