Este RelatĂłrio Final de Projeto fundamenta e analisa a criação coreogrĂĄfica do solo Pulso, inserido no Ăąmbito do Mestrado em Criação CoreogrĂĄfica e PrĂĄticas Profissionais da Escola Superior de Dança, Instituto PolitĂ©cnico de Lisboa. Esta peça busca materializar a divisa âvejo som e ouço movimentoâ atravĂ©s de uma investigação sobre como poderĂĄ o corpo atuar como um "corpo contentor", apoiada na perspectiva sinestĂ©sica, mas tambĂ©m, na minha experiĂȘncia profissional nesta ĂĄrea artĂstica.
O objetivo Ă©, ainda, investigar a questĂŁo âQual o potencial humano para incorporar a essĂȘncia do som?â e desenvolver estas ideias, considerando uma pesquisa sustentada em evidĂȘncias cientĂficas que permitam estabelecer algumas correlaçÔes entre a neurociĂȘncia e a arte. Para a pesquisa e elaboração do score de movimento que orienta a estrutura da peça, foram utilizados mĂ©todos de improvisação. Este processo foi, simultaneamente, ancorado em diversos dispositivos e elementos recolhidos durante a pesquisa bibliogrĂĄfica, bem como metodologias inspiradas pelo trabalho de William Forsythe.
Paralelamente, pretende-se que esta criação contribua para uma abordagem exploratĂłria da relação entre dança e mĂșsica, alĂ©m de fomentar a continuidade da investigação de novas formas de compartilhar essa experiĂȘncia com o pĂșblico. Conclui-se que, para a trajetĂłria a trilhar na ĂĄrea da criação, Ă© essencial integrar uma visĂŁo sobre o potencial do corpo humano - na complexa ligação entre a mente e o movimento - como estratĂ©gia para a amplificação da experiĂȘncia sensitiva. Essa perspectiva, fundamentada pelo conhecimento empĂrico da dança, induz uma imersĂŁo contĂnua na incorporação dos elementos explorados e na maturação das ideias provindas deste texto e do processo criativo, promovendo novas abordagens na relação entre corpo, som e movimento.
ABSTRACT - This study substantiates and analyzes the choreographic creation of the solo Pulso, which is part of the Master 's Degree in Criação CoreogrĂĄfica e PrĂĄticas Profissionais at the Escola Superior de Dança, Instituto PolitĂ©cnico de Lisboa. This piece seeks to materialize the motto âI see sound and hear movementâ through an investigation that seeks to assess how the body can function as a "container body," supported by a synesthetic perspective, as well as my professional experience in this artistic domain. Additionally, the objective is to explore the question âWhat is the human potential to incorporate the essence of sound?â. To develop these ideas, I will implement research grounded in scientific evidence that establishes correlations between neuroscience and art. For the research and development of the movement score that guides the structure of the piece improvisation methods were applied. This process was simultaneously anchored in various devices and elements gathered during bibliographic research, as well as methodologies inspired by the work of William Forsythe. Furthermore, this work aims to contribute to a more exploratory understanding of the relationship between dance and music, while also encouraging ongoing research into new ways of sharing this experience with the public. In conclusion, I believe that, in the path I wish to pursue as a creator, it is essential to integrate a vision of the human body's potential - within the complex connection between mind and movement - as a strategy for amplifying sensory experiences. This perspective, grounded in my specialized knowledge in dance, requires continuous immersion in the incorporation of the explored elements and the maturation of ideas that emerge from this research and creative process, ultimately promoting new approaches to the relationship between body, sound, and movement.
