| dc.description.abstract | A presente dissertaĆ§Ć£o tem o objetivo principal de revelar aspetos das finanƧas empresariais das 100 maiores empresas portuguesas que sĆ£o pouco debatidos e contemplados. Este estudo,referente ao ano de 2018, demonstra-se inovador e diferenciador por nĆ£o focar apenas as finanƧas empresarias nos pontos mais tradicionais e debatidos, nomeadamente, as polĆticas de financiamento e de dividendos das empresas, como tambĆ©m procura analisar os beneficiĆ”rios principais das empresas portuguesas, por forma a confirmar ou anular a ideia de que os ganhos das empresas em territĆ³rio portuguĆŖs sĆ£o, sobretudo, aproveitados por pessoas ou entidades estrangeiras. O Ćŗltimo tĆ³pico analisado relaciona a anĆ”lise referida anteriormente com os grupos econĆ³micos que controlam as empresas em foco, para que, se obtenha a imagem completa dos acontecimentos. Relativamente aos resultados encontrados, estes vieram confirmar o conhecimento comum. Descobriu-se que os beneficiĆ”rios das principais empresas portuguesas sĆ£o, na sua maioria, estrangeiros, sendo que o controlo das empresas tende a ser feito por grandes famĆlias ou corporaƧƵes e poucos sĆ£o os casos de empresas de capital disperso. Quanto Ć forma de financiamento constatou-se que os emprĆ©stimos sĆ£o mais usados que os aumentos de capital. A polĆtica de dividendos, por outro lado, denota-se mais irregular e sem seguir um padrĆ£o. Finalmente, os grupos econĆ³micos em que as maiores empresas portuguesas se inserem tendem a seguir as tendĆŖncias das anĆ”lises individuais Ć s empresas por si detidas, ou seja, demonstram resultados similares em todos os indicadores. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The present dissertation has the primary objective to reveal the least debated financial aspects from the 100 bigger portuguese companies. This study, regarding the year of 2018, presents itself as innovative and differentiator because it doesnāt focus only the traditional and very debated business finance points, for exemple, the financing policy and the dividend policy, asit also analyses the principal beneficiaries of the portuguese companies with the goal being, to show whether the idea that the gains of the portuguese companies are distributed mainly abroad is true or if it isnāt. Lastly, we relate the prior analyses with the analyses of the business groups that own the 100 bigger portuguese companies, in order to get the full picture of what really happens. Regarding the results, they backup the popular opinion. It was found that the principal beneficiaries of the portuguese companies are mainly found abroad and that the control of the companies tend to be in the hands of big powerful families or corporations and that there areonly a few cases of companies with dispersed capital. In terms of the financing policy it was found that portuguese companies tend to prefer lending money over capital increases. The dividend policy, on the other hand, showed to be more irregular and not conclusive. Finally, itās shown that the business groups where the bigger portuguese companies take part tend to confirm the analysis made for the companies individually. | pt_PT |
