Abstract - This poster presents the 'Emocionar para Dançar' (Moving with Emotion) research initiative, which aims to address awareness of primary emotions among 4th-grade students (1st cycle of Basic Education) at the D. Dinis School Cluster in Lisbon during the 2023/2024 academic year. This approach stems from an integrated connection between Digital Education and Creative Dance. By combining artistic activities with Digital Education, the research seeks to develop emotional intelligence and strengthen the socio-emotional skills of the participating children. The activities are carried out using technological resources and digital tools in an initial phase, followed by sessions in a dance studio. These activities aim to foster movement, creativity, and bodily expression in harmony with emotions. This presentation outlines the fieldwork activities undertaken, focusing primarily on achieving body awareness and emotional understanding. Throughout this experimental research, the goal has been to provide a safe environment where children can freely express their emotions, as well as reason and use their imagination while feeling, creating, and communicating.
