dc.description.abstract	Esta tese tem como objectivo uma reflexão sobre a espera e a maneira de a figurar no cinema, estudando alguns casos específicos, tanto no cinema como em outras artes. Sob o ponto de vista de uma mulher que vive num mundo saturado de comunicação, onde, paradoxalmente, as relações interpessoais estão abaladas, pretende-se abordar conceitos como o espaço (interior/exterior) e o tempo (ritmo e duração) e de que forma estes contribuem para a construção e representação de uma personagem em cinema.	pt_PT
dc.description.abstract	ABSTRACT - This thesis aims to reflect on the theme of Waiting and in the way that it sees itself represented in cinema, referring to some specific cases, studying it also in theater and other arts which have obvious connections to cinema. From the point of view of a woman who lives in a world saturated with communication, in which paradoxically interpersonal relationships are apparently unsettled, the intention of this thesis is to address to this theme and study concepts as the representation forms of space (indoor/ outdoor) and time (rhythm and duration) and how they contribute to the construction and representation of a character in cinema.	pt_PT
