Abstract(s)
letivos, potenciando assim todas as vantagens desse contacto.
Abstract This report shows the results and the process of an educational intervention carried out in two contexts of practice, one in the 1st Cycle of Basic Educationand another in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education, describing its different phases. It also presents a study developed with 5th and 6th year students of the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education. The sample consisted of 68 students from the school where the Supervised Teaching Practice II was carried out. These students were given a survey in order to identify the conceptions about the nature and the impact that it had on them. The next step was performed with 33 children of this initial group. These students made a field trip to the interpretive space of Lagoa Pequena, in Sesimbra. The students were divided into three groups and each group experienced a different educational resource that explored different aspects of the Little Lagoon. After the visit, this group returned to the initial survey to verify if the field trip changed the conceptions of these students about the nature and the impact that it had on them. The following day these students answered another survey to evaluate the visit and the educational resource experienced. As some questions were similar between the two surveys, the comparative analysis of the answers allowed to evaluate the coherence of the ideas expressed by the students. According to the results, we could verify that the students see the nature as loose elements, not revealing a more holistic idea focused on the interactions. As for the feelings that nature caused in them, they stated that they felt happy, free and happy. The group that went to Lagoa Pequena did not change its conceptions about nature nor the feelings that it causes. The study shows the impact that nature had on their feelings. The school should be encouraged to continue with these kind of activities, enhancing the advantages of it in all students.
