Resumo(s)
Journalism is a constantly evolving profession, where access to large-scale databases has been revolutionizing certain areas of journalism. Therefore, journalism education must equip future journalists to handle numerical data and extract useful information from large databases. Aware that data journalists currently need new knowledge and skills to be successful in their profession, in this paper we present a brief introduction to a versatile programming language – Python.
