Abstract(s)
Do ponto
Abstract This paper presents the project developed in a Social Particular Institution of Social Solidarity with nine adults - five educators and four assistants - and with a group of fourteen children between the ages of 18 and 27 months and had the objective to characterize the narratives that the adults who work in nursery have about young children and the socio-educational work that is done with them. Methodologically, a qualitative approach was chosen, using the case study method and four main techniques were used: observation, photographs, focus groups and documentary consultation. From an ethical and deontological point of view, the identity and privacy rights of all those involved, as well as the educational establishment, were respected. From the results obtained, the discursive appreciation of adults in relation to children is highlighted, and on the other hand, the need to promote greater reflection and action around the promotion of participatory children’s rights in nursery daily life.
