Abstract(s)
foco no desemprego feminino.
publicamente.
ABSTRACT - This Stage Report has as object of research the design and monitoring of two Theatre Workshops aimed at two groups of women, university students and unemployed. The stage was held between November/2013 and June/2014 at Quarta Parede-Association of Performing Arts of Covilhã and inserted in the Empowerment Labs, training laboratories crossing performing arts and social sciences in reflection and action on gender equality with focus on female unemployment. This report comprises the three momentes of the stage process: research theoretical and practical frameworks, design and monitoring of Theatre Workshops and reflection from laboratory practice. In search of theoretical and practical frameworks, essential to devise the operational methodology and program contents, I explored dimensions such as feminism and gender equality, and tried to understand how the empowerment, the Paulo Freire pedagogy and applied theater methodologies served the objectives of my work. The realization of workshops was time to test the methodologies and the program designed. Having gender equality as unifying theme, empowerment through art as the most objective and applied theater as methodological basis, the workshops fit into the non-formal education processes applied to the increment of intellectual, emotional, social, expressive and creative resources and, in this particular case, to the expansion of gender awareness. In this sense, the workshops took a procedural methodological approach, participatory and interdisciplinary, turned towards the performative research, first in a personal dramaturgy, after a collective dramaturgy and, finally, a gender equality dramaturgy. “Dramaturgy” here comes the methodological sense of pachwork and sampling (collection and processing of materials), particularly evident in the last phase, dedicated to building a collective performative exercise presented publicly.
