Resumo I (Prática Pedagógica) - O presente Relatório de Estágio foi lavrado no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Estágio do Ensino Especializado do Mestrado em Ensino da Música da Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa.
O trabalho apresentado tem origem na prática pedagógica em exercício da docência em duas escolas do Ensino Artístico Especializado, a Escola de Música Luís António Maldonado Rodrigues, em Torres Vedras, e a Academia de Música de Óbidos, no ano lectivo de 2017/2018 e incidindo sobre três alunos. Um do 5.º Ano/1.º Grau, outro do 7.º Ano/3.º Grau e o último do 10.º Ano/6.º Grau.
Além da caracterização de ambos os estabelecimentos de ensino, seu corpo docente e recursos, são também caracterizados os alunos em estudo relativamente ao seu desempenho e estilo de aprendizagem, bem como os demais aspectos que dão contexto à sua frequência e vivência do ano lectivo em estudo.
Este trabalho teve por objectivo a avaliação do mestrando no cargo de docente de Trompete nas duas escolas, culminando na reflexão sobre o decorrer do ano, as actividades desenvolvidas e os conhecimentos transmitidos, desenvolvidos e consolidados aos alunos, permitindo ao primeiro a percepção sobre a sua prática pedagógica e dos pontos fortes que nela possam existir, bem como os pontos onde existem necessidades de melhoria por parte do mesmo na perseguição do seu objectivo de ser um docente profissionalizado capaz.
Resumo II (Investigação) - A presente Investigação terá na sua génese o objectivo de produzir a proposta de um método de estudo, para a leitura de material de performance de dificuldade variável, que possa ser aplicado por trompetistas dos mais variados níveis de conhecimento. De forma a sustentar esta proposta, será recolhido e abordada informação proveniente de várias publicações sobre psicologia, pedagogia geral e pedagogia da performance instrumental. A proposta foi estruturada em quatro fases, cada uma com objectivos e tarefas específicos a cumprir: Preparação e Início de Trabalho, Técnica dos 6 Passos, Junção de Frases e Produto Final. O seu propósito é dotar os músicos, sobretudo estudantes, com um sistema que possa ser utilizado por estes de forma mais autónoma e eficiente na preparação de estudos, obras ou outro material de performance abordado nas aulas de instrumento ou de conjunto, bem como na preparação do mesmo para outras situações.
Abstract I (Teaching) - The Internship Report here presented was written in the scope of the Course Unit of Specialized Teaching Internship, Master’s Degree in Music Education, at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. The present work has its origin in the pedagogical practice as an acting teacher at two schools of the Specialized Artistic Teaching, Escola de Música Luís António Maldonado Rodrigues, Torres Vedras, and Academia de Música de Óbidos in the academic year of 2017/2018, focused on three students. One attending the 5th Grade/1st Year, another attending the 7th Grade/3rd year and the last one attending the 10th Grade/6th Year. Besides the description of both teaching organizations, their faculty, and resources, also the students in review are characterized about their accomplishment and learning styles as well as their attendance and experience of the academic year. The objective of this work was to evaluate the postgraduate at a Trumpet teacher’s position at both schools, having as an outcome a reflection about the school year, the developed activities, and the conveyed, developed, and consolidated knowledge to his students, allowing the perception of both the pedagogical practice, its positive aspects and the ones where improvement is needed in the pursuit of its goal to become an accomplished, professionalized teacher.
Abstract II (Research) - This Research has in its origin the objective to create a proposal containing a study protocol to help trumpet players from various backgrounds and levels reading new performance assignments they need to prepare. In order to justify this proposal, there will be a collection and an approach of several literature from psychology, general and instrumental performance pedagogy. The protocol contained in this proposal is organized in four phases, each with specific tasks and goals to fulfil: Preparation and Beginning of Work, The 6 Steps Technique, Phrase Junction and Final Product. The purpose is to provide the musicians, mainly students, with a system they can use in a more independent and efficient way in the preparation of etudes, pieces or any other performance material they need to present at instrumental lessons, ensemble lessons or even in other occasions.
