Abstract(s)
do Estágio.
ABSTRACT - Contemporary Dance Techniques are, currently, a mixture of influences and experiences of educators, through their academic, artistic and pedagogical pathways. The approaches to movement are plural, although all of them reflect the principles of those who boosted the rise of modern dance and contemporary dance. This Internship aims to show the validity of different technic approaches, language or style, in the context of Specialized Artistic Education. Through the Co- Teaching, of a third-year class of the Basic Dance Course of Orfeão de Leiria Dance School, it is intended to figure out if there are performative gains, through the interaction with two teachers who teach the same course unit. The clarification of the results rises from the Research-Action Methodology supported by Logbooks and Observation Tables, drawn up during the period of the Internship. The presentation and characterization of the pedagogical practice; the strategies found; the comparison with a control group, from the same institution; as well as the exposure of students to different performative moments revealed that, with Co-Teaching, it is possible to enhance the development of capabilities like versatility and the interpreters uniqueness, without losing the technical quality required in the context of formation of dancers, through coordination, cooperation and sharing, among teachers. To sum up, it is intended to value the uniqueness of the teachers of Contemporary Dance Techniques; to assert plural practices in the same scope from a relationship of sharing between teachers and to allow the contact of students with present time, current in professional artistic panorama of contemporary dance.
