Este relatório analisa o processo de conceção, criação, produção e apresentação da performance “Limites Fechados”. Centrado nos conceitos de racismo, racismo estrutural, colorismo e diáspora o projeto pretende questionar a relação da herança colonial com o racismo vivenciado hoje por pessoas racializadas em Portugal. Que papel ocupa a mulher negra, na sociedade e nas artes do espetáculo? Que desafios a constringem? Que possibilidades tem para criar?
ABSTRACT - This report analyzes the process of conception, creation, production and presentation of the performance “Closed Limits”. Centered on the concepts of racism, structural racism, colorism and diaspora, the project intends to relate colonial heritage with the racism experienced today by racialized people in Portugal. What role do black women occupy, in society and in the performing arts? What challenges constrain her? What possibilities does she have to create?
