Abstract(s)
O presente estudo tem como propósito caraterizar as principais causas e consequências das crises económicas na Economia Portuguesa de forma a ajudar e informar os stakeholders que necessitam de tomar decisões em contextos económicos particularmente desafiantes.
Para apurar tais causas e consequências é realizada uma análise comparativa dos indicadores económicos entre as grandes crises financeiras através do cálculo do R ajustado, permitindo uma reflexão sobre a relação entre os mesmos nos diferentes momentos de crise.
Para identificar o momento em que as recessões começaram e acabam, é tomado como referência principal o seguinte conjunto de indicadores: o produto interno bruto, o desemprego, taxa de inflação e índice de confiança.
