Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT - This essay explores the integration of exhibition narratives and digital art in exhibition curation to promote gender equality in sports, highlighting activist curatorship as a tool for reflection and social transformation. It examines the role of museums as communication platforms, the intersection of gender equality and media art, and the impact of digital technologies on immersive narratives. The exhibition WOMEN IN SPORTS, part of the Parallel 3 project, exemplifies this approach by combining factual elements, such as historical milestones and gender statistics, with fictional components, including AI-generated characters and interactive installations. This narrative fusion aims to raise awareness among visitors, fostering dialogue and empathy. The collaboration between curation, technology, and art reinforces the importance of creativity in shaping transformative exhibitions that go beyond passive contemplation to stimulate awareness and social change.
