Abstract(s)

The main goal is to develop the students into more stable dancers, consequently allowing them to achieve better results in the initiation to pointe work, as well as understanding if the methodology in use will provide the intended results. The intention is to introduce this adapted program in classes of technique of classic dance, for an all female type of class, using the following assessment methods: observation charts, video recording, amongst other tests that will allow understanding if there were actual improvements in strength, control, core stability and balance, as well as the Point Readiness Test.
