Este projeto tem origem num processo de introspeção pessoal em torno de questões
relacionadas com o papel da dança na vida do ser humano. Trata-se de explorar uma
conceção de dança que vai além do domínio artístico, para se amplificar ao quotidiano e
à memória habitual do corpo.
A par com a conceção anterior, pretende-se conciliar a ideia de dança enquanto veículo
de pertença a uma comunidade, catalisador de liberdade, sensibilidade sobre o presente e
auto-conhecimento da pessoa que dança e do mundo em que o mesmo se insere.
Analisar-se-ão excertos fílmicos de Bobbi Jene e No Escuro do Cinema Descalço os
Sapatos, ambos estruturados segundo o modo observacional. Através do estudo de
exemplos desta modalidade e dos seus respetivos componentes de realização, propõe-se
encontrar a forma fílmica mais adequada à realização de uma curta documental de dança.
ABSTRACT - This project originates from a process of personal introspection around issues related to the role of dance in the life of the human being. It focuses on the exploration of a conception of dance that goes beyond the artistic domain, to be amplified to the daily life and the habitual memory of the body. Along with the previous conception, it is intended to reconcile the idea of dance as a vehicle of belonging to a community, a catalyst for freedom, sensitivity to the present and self-knowledge of the person who dances and the world in which it is inserted. Film excerpts from Bobbi Jene and No Escuro do Cinema Descalço os Sapatos will be analyzed, both structured according to the observational mode. Through the study of examples of this modality and its respective components of directing, the aim is to find the most appropriate film form for the accomplishment of a short dance documentary.
