Abstract(s)
Partindo do princípio de que o jornalismo de futebol tem hipóteses de ser
melhorado, explorando as várias hipóteses existentes no mercado internacional e ainda os
diversos canais de transmissão existentes nos dias que correm, o presente trabalho tem
como metas principais compreender quais são os costumes do mercado televisivo
nacional quanto a produtos relacionados com o futebol, perceber ainda quais são as falhas
nesse mercado, compreender quais são as oportunidades de mercado e, com base nessa
análise, desenvolver uma ideia nova para um programa de análise e comentário de futebol,
a implementar no mercado nacional. Desenvolveu-se ainda neste trabalho um plano de
negócios que apoie a proposta de produto, assente numa ideia sustentável e ambiciosa,
que prevê um crescimento gradual do negócio com o passar do tempo. Desenvolvido no
âmbito do Mestrado em Jornalismo na Escola Superior de Comunicação Social.
ABSTRACT: Assuming that football journalism has a chance to be improved, exploring how several hypotheses exist in the international market and even the different channels of transmission existing nowadays, the present work has as main goals to understand what are the costumes of the portuguese television market regarding football-related products, also know what are the flaws in that market, understand what the market opportunities are and, based on that analysis, develop a new idea for a football analysis and commentary program, to be implemented in the portuguese television market. A business plan that supports the product proposal was also developed in this work, based on a sustainable and ambitious idea, which foresees a gradual growth of the business over time. Developed under the Master’s degree in Journalism at Higher School of Communication and Media Studies (ESCS-IPL).
