Através de exemplos como o filme As Armas e o Povo (1975), o presente artigo visa apelar para a relação entre a arte e a liberdade. Uma relação complexa, nem sempre fácil, sobretudo em tempos de ditadura. Autores como Simone Weil, Álvaro Cunhal, Zigmunt Bauman, entre outros, ajudarão a complementar a reflexão teórica.
ABSTRACT - The article aims to discuss the relation between art and freedom, with case studies. This is a complex relationship, sometimes very difficult, especially in dictatorship regimes. Authors like Simone Weil, Álvaro Cunhal, Zigmunt Bauman and others will help to the theorical reflection.
