Abstract(s)
A Teoria e Prática da Criatividade‖ é uma Unidade Curricular (UC) que faz parte da oferta
formativa da ESELx e que faz jus ao seu nome. De carácter teórico-prático, esta disciplina é
direcionada para alunos da licenciatura de Artes Visuais e Tecnologias, em resposta a uma
necessidade educativa sentida na contemporaneidade.
Consciente que a criatividade é uma competência fundamental para o desenvolvimento
optimizado do indivíduo e para a cidadania do séc. XXI, esta comunicação visa apresentar uma
disciplina criada para explorar o que é a criatividade e para estimular o potencial criativo dos
alunos no ensino superior. Com a apresentação da UC pretende-se refletir sobre a
importância de implementação de exercícios práticos para a resolução criativa de problemas
em sala de aula, e aferir o seu impacto em turmas de licenciatura, com incidência nos
benefícios que a promoção da criatividade traz no processo ensino-aprendizagem.
The "Theory and Practice of Creativity" is a course that is part of the training offer of ESELx. This theoretical and practical Curricular Unit (CU) is directed for students of the "Visual Arts and Technologies" degree course, in response to an educational need felt in the schools and workplaces. Aware that creativity is a key skill for the optimal development of the individual and for citizenship of the XXI century, this communication aims at presenting a course designed to explore what is creativity and to stimulate creative potential of students in higher education. With the presentation of this curricular unit, we intended to reflect on the importance of implementation of practical exercises for creative problem solving in the classroom, and assess their impact on undergraduate courses, with a focus on benefits that creativity promotion brings to the teaching-learning process.
