dc.description.abstract	Resumo I - O presente documento relata o estágio realizado na Escola Profissional de Música Metropolitana no ano letivo 2017/2018. Compreende a observação de aulas de saxofone de três alunos de nível secundário e básico do ensino especializado da música. Os alunos A e C são referentes ao nível secundário e o aluno B ao nível básico. O trabalho desenvolvido em estágio conta com a colaboração da instituição e do professor cooperante - professor João Pedro Silva – como facilitadores do acesso à informação e aos meios logísticos necessários para a realização do estágio. O professor orientador, professor José Massarrão, é encarregado das funções de avaliação, direção e aconselhamento perante as práticas do estagiário incluindo a realização dos documentos de cariz científico. O relatório de estágio divide-se em quatro secções. Primeiramente, a perspetiva do estagiário em relação ao estágio, de seguida a descrição da escola nos âmbitos relativos à sua história, características, enquadramento, organização, gestão, oferta educativa, ligação à comunidade, protocolos/parcerias, resultados e plano de atividades. A terceira parte é relativa às aulas observadas: características da classe de saxofones da escola, dos alunos observados e a descrição das práticas educativas do docente. Por fim, ocorre uma análise do processo de aprendizagem dos alunos e uma reflexão, inspirada no observado em estágio, acerca da função de um professor.	pt_PT
dc.description.abstract	Resumo II - O mestrando propõe através desta investigação desenvolver estratégias pedagógicas que relacionem a aprendizagem do saxofone com o aperfeiçoamento da ‘audiação’ nos alunos em iniciação musical. A ‘audiação’ é um conceito introduzido por Gordon (2000b), definindo o pensamento musical e vários fenómenos que o caracterizam. Gordon distingue tipos de ‘audiação’ e estádios de audiação, propondo métodos de ensino que pretendem oferecer ao aluno a oportunidade de audiar, criar uma compreensão dos fenómenos sonoros, atribuir um significado pessoal ao som. Realça desta forma a importância da ‘audiação’ para a concretização musical. O documento presente visa investigar estratégias pedagógicas que desenvolvam a ‘audiação’ dos alunos de saxofone em iniciação. A descrição do projeto expõe as problemáticas e o meio onde decorre a investigação, sendo realizada nas aulas de saxofone, com três alunos de iniciação durante um período que compreende quatro fases. O investigador em cada fase analisa as estratégias aplicadas, que incluem: o plano de atividades; a descrição e análise das atividades em aulas; as alterações do plano de atividades para a fase seguinte. Os dados obtidos incluem também a observação da conduta dos alunos ao integrar a Banda Juvenil I da Academia de Música dos Bombeiros Voluntários de Torres Vedras, tal como questionários aplicados aos professores que observaram o desempenho dos alunos. A relação entre os dados recolhidos, o conhecimento prático/cientifico adquirido pelo investigador e as respostas ao questionário criam uma base sustentada para os resultados da investigação suportando estes a reflexão final.	pt_PT
dc.description.abstract	Abstract I - The internship in specialized music education took place in Escola Profissional de Música Metropolitana, throughout 2017/2018 school year, and it comprised three students and their respective weekly classes. The two of these students, student A and student C, belong to an high school level of music education. The third student, student B, belongs to the basic level. The work developed during this internship has the support of the institution and assistant professor who enabled access to information and helped with the inherent logistics of an internship. The guiding teacher, José Massarão, is in charge of evaluating and advising the intern, as well as revising scientific tests. The internship report comprises four sections. The first one focuses on the intern perspective regarding the internship. The second section presents the school's following themes: history, characteristics, framing, organization, management, learning program, community engagement, partnerships and protocols, results and activity plans. The third section is related to the observed classes: describes the school's saxofone class, the three students who took part in the internship, and summarizes the teacher's educational practice. In the last section, the intern criticizes the professor's activity, followed by a reflection on the easy and difficult parts of the internship, their importance and the questions it revealed on professional development and ongoing education.	pt_PT
dc.description.abstract	Abstract II - The present report researches education strategies who correlate saxofone learning lessons with the development of audiation in beginner saxophone students. Audiation is a concept introduced by Gordon (2000b), and it summarizes everything re-garding musical thought and its surrounding phenomenons. Gordon distinguishes betwe-en various types and stages. He suggests teaching methods to offer students the chance to audiate, to understand the sound phenomena and to give sound a meaning. He em-phasizes the importance of audiation to obtain musical achievement. The present report researches education strategies to develop audiation in begin-ner saxophone students. The project description exposes the difficulties and environment in which the investigation. It takes place in saxofone classes with three beginner students for a period of time that comprises four stages. The analysis includes: activity plan, class description and activity schedule, and changes to be made in order to improve the next stage. The research data also includes behavior observations of the students who start playing in the juvenile band and questionnaires done to other professors who observe the students evolution. The investigation have a period split in four sections. The starting point was the bi-bliography, where the intern analyses the applied strategies. The primary data also inclu-des the questions asked to the three students in the end of the school year, and an analy-sis of their behavior regarding their admission in the juvenile band. The corelation betwe-en the observed data, the practical/scientific knowledge acquired by the intern and the questionnaire answers make the investigation results that supor the final reflexion.	pt_PT
