Abstract(s)
No âmbito da Unidade Curricular Prática Profissional Supervisionada II foi elaborado o presente relatório que tem por base a prática educativa realizada numa sala de jardim de infância, com crianças de idades heterogéneas, sendo abordados aspetos relativos ao processo de intervenção junto das crianças, equipa educativa e famílias, assim como a investigação desenvolvida.
Face à situação de pandemia causada pela Covid-19 e ao interesse relativo à temática da relação escola-família, foi realizado uma investigação que se carateriza por ser um caso de estudo, de cariz qualitativo, acerca do impacto da pandemia provocada pela Covid-19 na relação escola-família, baseada nas perspetivas de educadoras. Deste modo, foram entrevistadas quatro educadoras da instituição onde foi realizada a PPSII e foram definidos para a investigação os seguintes objetivos: i) conhecer as perspetivas das educadoras de infância sobre a importância da relação escola-família, (ii) conhecer a visão das educadoras relativamente ao impacto da situação pandémica na relação com as famílias e (iii) analisar as estratégias implementadas pelas educadoras de infância entrevistadas. Posteriormente à realização das entrevistas, os dados recolhidos foram alvo de uma análise de conteúdo.
Com as informações recolhidas foi possível compreender que, apesar do período desafiante, devido aos confinamentos impostos, bem como ao distanciamento social que afastou, fisicamente, as famílias das organizações socioeducativas, a relação positiva com as famílias manteve-se e a colaboração entre os dois contextos continuou a existir. Para tal, foi fundamental repensar as formas de comunicação e de cooperação, adaptando as mesmas à situação e encontrando estratégias que permitissem manter a parceria que se revela crucial para o bem-estar e desenvolvimento das crianças.
ABSTRACT Within the scope of the curricular unit of Supervised Professional Practice II, this report was prepared, based on the educational practice carried out in a kindergarten room, with children of heterogeneous ages, addressing aspects relating to the intervention process with children, the educational team and families, as well as the research carried out. Given the situation of pandemic caused by Covid-19 and the interest in the theme of the school-family relationship, an investigation was carried out which is characterized as a qualitative case study on the impact of the pandemic caused by Covid-19 in the school-family relationship, based on the perspectives of educators. Thus, four educators from the institution where the PPSII was held were interviewed and the following objectives were defined for the investigation: i) to know the perspectives of kindergarten teachers on the importance of the school-family relationship, (ii) to know the educators' view regarding the impact of the pandemic situation in the relationship with the families and (iii) analyzing the strategies implemented by the interviewed kindergarten teachers. After the interviews were carried out, the collected data were subjected to a content analysis. With the information collected, it was possible to understand that, despite the challenging period, due to the imposed lockdowns, as well as the social distance that physically distanced the families from socio-educational organizations, the positive relationship with the families was maintained and the collaboration between the two contexts continued to exist. Thus, it was essential to rethink the forms of communication and cooperation, adapting them to the situation and finding strategies that would allow maintaining the partnership that is crucial for the well-being and development of children.
