O presente relatório do trabalho de projeto O pio da coruja tem como objetivo identificar a necessidade social e artística, bem como dar conta da metodologia utilizada para a génese do espetáculo O pio da Coruja a partir da obra The Political Theatre, de Erwin Piscator.
Baseando-se a proposta cénica num único indivíduo a dialogar entre a atualidade e os tempos da ditadura portuguesa, tanto a peça quanto o relatório partiram da apropriação de relatos íntimos e documentos familiares, assim como de uma análise social e histórica destes dois diferentes períodos da história de Portugal.
ABSTRACT - The present report of the project O pio da coruja aims to identify the social and artistic needs, as well as to detail the methodology used to create the performance O pio da coruja, based on Erwin Piscator’s The Political Theatre. Centred on a single individual in a dialogue between he present day and the times of the Portuguese dictatorship, both the play and the report stem from the appropriation of intimate accounts and family documents, alongside a social and historical analysis of these two distinct periods in Portuguese history.
