| dc.description.abstract | El Land Art surgió en estados Unidos en la década de los años 60 del siglo XX. Su surgimiento reflejó las características socioculturales de esta década afirmándose contra la creciente comercialización del arte. En esta década, las cuestiones ambientales motivaron un creciente interés y el Land Art se afianzó como una forma de aproximación al mundo natural, en una fusión entre naturaleza y cultura. Las intervenciones bajo este arte tienen un carácter efímero fruto de los procesos erosivos naturales. De ahí la necesidad de registrar la intervención, normalmente efectuada recurriendo a la fotografía. De la descripción efectuada se comprende que en Land Art es esencial una forma de expresión física, no representacional, siendo este uno de los aspectos innovadores en relación a otras formas de arte existentes en el mundo occidental. También constata ser una forma de manifestación artística accesible a todos y que contribuye al o desenvolvimiento de diversas competencias educacionales multidisciplinares. Los objetivos de este workshop que se propone tiene dos finalidades principales: i) dar a conocer a los participantes el Land Art y algunas de sus tendencias, mostrando trabajos de autores como os de Robert Smithson e Andy Goldworthy (entre muchos otros); ii) posibilitar intervenciones artísticas de los participantes en Monsanto, que obedezcan a los principios presentados. El trabajo a realizar seguirá las etapas sugeridas por Brooklyn and Shilling (1988): i) Exploración de lo local; ii) Recogida de materiales; iii) Selección de un local para realizar la intervención; iv) Decisión acerca de que lo que hacer; v) Decisión de cómo hacerlo, finalizando con registro fotográfico; vi) Explicitación de lo que se ha aprendido con la experiencia efectuada, principalmente en términos de literatura científica e ambiental. En el lugar de cada intervención el autor o autores presentarán su intervención al grupo y una habrá una breve discusión sobre cada obra. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract Land Art emerged in the United States in the Decade of the sixties of the 20th century. Its creation reflected the socio-cultural characteristics of this decade claiming against the growing commercialization of the art. In this decade, environmental issues led to a growing interest and Land Art took hold as a way of approach to the natural world, in a fusion between nature and culture. Interventions under this art, have an ephemeral result of natural erosion processes. Hence the need to register the intervention, usually effected using photography. Effected description understood that a form of physical, non-representational expression, is essential in Land Art being one of the innovative aspects in relation to other forms of art in the Western world. Also found to be a form of artistic expression, accessible to all and which contributes to development of various multidisciplinary educational competencies. The objectives of this workshop proposed has two main purposes: (i) to inform participants the Land Art and some of their tendencies, showing works of authors like Robert Smithson and Andy Goldworthy (among many others); (ii) enable artistic interventions of the participants in Monsanto, in accordance with the principles presented. The work to be performed will follow the stages suggested by Brooklyn and Shilling (1988): i) exploration of the local; II) materials collections; (iii) selection of a venue to perform the operation; (iv) decision about which we do; (v) Decision on how do it, ending with photographic record; (vi) Explicitation of what has been learned with the effected experience, mainly in terms of scientific and environmental literature. In the place of each intervention the author or authors will present it to the group, and will promote a brief discussion of each work. | pt_PT |
