Esta dissertação foi elaborada na sequência da frequência do Curso de Mestrado em Educação Especial, da Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa. Com o título “A inclusão de alunos com problemáticas graves – preocupações e práticas de uma equipa multidisciplinar em tempos de pandemia”, é um estudo sobre as práticas e preocupações da Equipa Multidisciplinar de uma instituição que se dedica ao apoio de alunos com problemáticas graves, durante um período de tempo fortemente condicionado pela pandemia do Covid-19. O Projeto Institucional e o Plano de Contingência da organização foram analisados de forma a fornecer o necessário contexto. Foram observadas e gravadas quatro reuniões da Equipa Multidisciplinar, realizadas entre março e abril de 2020, tendo os protocolos das reuniões passado por um processo de análise de conteúdo. Com base na análise dos dados recolhidos das reuniões, elaborou-se um questionário que foi aplicado aos membros da equipa em julho de 2021. Foi possível concluir que as principais preocupações e práticas da Equipa Multidisciplinar estiveram associadas ao seu funcionamento interno e ao apoio prestado aos alunos e suas famílias. O acompanhamento personalizado de alunos e suas famílias foi a prática mais destacada, existindo uma grande preocupação da parte dos membros da equipa com o assegurar de apoios adequados, não se limitando à área pedagógica. Destaca-se também a capacidade de adaptação da equipa estudada à situação vivida e a necessidade de se realizarem estudos complementares.
ABSTRACT This dissertation was elaborated following the attendance of the Master's Course in Special Education, at Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa. Entitled “The inclusion of students with severe problems – practices and concerns of a multidisciplinary team during a pandemic”, it is a study on the practices and concerns of the Multidisciplinary Team of an institution dedicated to the support of students with severe problems, during a period of time strongly conditioned by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Institutional Project and the organization's Contingency Plan were analyzed in order to provide the necessary context. Four meetings of the Multidisciplinary Team, held between March and April 2020, were observed and recorded, with the protocols of the meetings going through a process of content analysis. Based on the analysis of the data collected from the meetings, a questionnaire was prepared that was applied to the team members in July 2021. It was possible to conclude that the main concerns and practices of the Multidisciplinary Team were associated with their internal functioning and with supporting students and their families. The personalized support of students and their families was the most highlight practice, with the team members showing great concern with the need to ensure adequate support that is not limited to the pedagogical area. The ability of the team studied to adapt to the situation experienced and the need to carry out additional studies was also highlighted.
