O presente Trabalho Final de Mestrado reporta-se ao EstƔgio realizado na IPE (Infraestruturas de Portugal Engenharia).
Sendo a Engenharia Civil uma Ć”rea pluridisciplinar,a Via FĆ©rrea surge como um domĆnio cientĆfico especĆfico, principalmente com um conjunto de dois elementos que servem de base para a sustentação e guiamento dos comboios; ainfraestrutura e a superestrutura.
O estudo aqui reproduzido, abarca aspetos técnicos associados à especialidade da via.
Após o enquadramento e funcionamento da empresa onde se realizou o estÔgio, e com vista a enquadrar a leitura de todo o documento, é feita uma compilação dos conceitos bÔsicos da via: traçado, materiais, parâmetros geométricos e equipamentos.
Para além do referido anteriormente é igualmente abordado um caso prÔtico, onde o autor do documento teve a oportunidade de ser integrado na equipa da IPE, permitindo-lhe assim uma maior consolidação dos conceitos de natura maisteórica.
Abstract: This Report, submitted as part of a Master Degree in Civil Engineering, focus on the work developed during an internship at the Engineering branch of Infraestruturas de Portugal, S.A (IP Engenharia). Civil Engineering branches into many areas, among which two areas with a crucial impact on train suspension and drivability: railroad infrastructure and superstructure development. This report discusses the technical features associated with railroad tracks features. In order to provide a framework for the work undertaken, this reports describes the operation procedures of IP Engenharia and then lists the main features of the rail tracks being developed including mapping, materials, geometric parameters and equipment/facilities. The work carried out by this Reportās author as part of a team of IP Engenhariaās workers, which helped to consolidate the previously acquiredtheoretical knowledge, is also detailed.
