Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT - Departing from a performance named Promotion which I have created and interpreted in 2019, that presented an extremely simple dispositive in which the audience was summoned to participate and, hence, to contribute to its narrative, the study that follows focus on the subject matter of catharsis that occurs within the performing context and, in particular, in those cases when the public is invited to co-create with the performer. After questioning and analyzing the possibility of this type of occurrences, I conclude about its relevance both individually (in terms of providing liberating experiences) and in a potentially broader sense (namely, by stimulating a larger affluence of spectators to theatre).
