Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho final de mestrado refere-se à realização do projeto estrutural de um
Hangar de Armazenamento de Matérias-Primas numa unidade fabril em Moçambique.
A estrutura ocupa uma área em planta de 197,1m x 28,4m, sendo constituída por uma
cobertura metálica assente em pilares e vigas de betão armado. As fundações são indiretas,
compostas por um conjunto de maciços que servem de encabeçamento em estacas com
diâmetros de 0,50m.
Toda a estrutura foi projetada de modo a resistir a todas as ações permanentes e
variáveis com base nos Eurocódigos Estruturais adaptados à zona em Moçambique. Em
resumo, utilizou-se a NP EN 1990 para definir as combinações de ações, a NP EN 1991
na quantificação das ações, a NP EN 1992 no dimensionamento dos elementos de betão
armado, a NP EN 1993 no dimensionamento dos elementos metálicos, a NP EN 1997 no
projeto geotécnico das fundações e a NP EN 1998 no estudo e quantificação das ações
sísmicas.
O software “SAP2000” foi utilizado para modelar e analisar a estrutura e o software
“AutoCad” para elaborar as peças desenhadas. Os programas de cálculo “Gala Reinforcement”,
“SemiComp+”, “A3C” e “LTBeamN”, bem como as tabelas de cálculo Excel, foram
também utilizados para dimensionar todos os elementos metálicos e de betão armado.
The present master’s thesis refers to the structural design of a Raw Materials Storage Hangar in a factory unit in Mozambique. The structure occupies a plan area of 197,1m x 28,4m, being constituted by a metallic cover resting on reinforced concrete pillars and beams. The foundations are indirect, composed by a set of solid blocks that serve as heading in pile caps with diameters of 0.50m. The whole structure was designed to resist all permanent and variable actions based on the Structural Eurocodes adapted to the area in Mozambique. In short, NP EN 1990 was used to define the combinations of actions, NP EN 1991 to quantify the actions, NP EN 1992 to design the reinforced concrete elements, NP EN 1993 to design the metallic elements, NP EN 1997 for the geotechnical design of the foundations and NP EN 1998 to study and quantify the seismic actions.
