Num contexto de crescente digitalização dos ambientes de trabalho, torna-se urgente compreender os seus impactos no bem-estar psicossocial dos trabalhadores. Esta dissertação teve como objetivo geral identificar a perspetiva dos trabalhadores sobre o impacto do trabalho digital no seu bem-estar, satisfação, engagement e produtividade e estudar as suas associaƧƵes e os preditores de tecno-stress e de satisfação no trabalho, numa amostra de trabalhadores que utilizam meios tecnológicos no seu desempenho profissional. Foi realizado um estudo quantitativo, descritivo, correlacional e inferencial, com uma amostra de 85 trabalhadores de um organismo pĆŗblico, que responderam a um questionĆ”rio online. O instrumento incluiu escalas validadas para avaliar tecno-stress, bem-estar digital, satisfação no trabalho e engagement. A anĆ”lise estatĆstica foi realizada com recurso ao SPSS, versĆ£o 30.0. Os resultados indicaram nĆveis moderados de tecno-stress, com destaque para a fadiga e ansiedade tecnológicas. Verificaram-se nĆveis razoĆ”veis de bem-estar digital, engagement e satisfação no trabalho, ainda que afetados por fatores como tecno-invasĆ£o e complexidade tecnológica. Observaram-se diferenƧas significativas quanto ao sexo, idade e tempo de trabalho. As anĆ”lises de regressĆ£o revelaram que fadiga, complexidade e sobrecarga de papĆ©is sĆ£o preditores significativos do tecno-stress, enquanto o engagement e a produtividade predizem positivamente a satisfação com o trabalho. Em conclusĆ£o, a digitalização, embora promova eficiĆŖncia, tambĆ©m pode constituir um fator de risco psicossocial, sendo fundamental que as organizaƧƵes implementem medidas de prevenção e promoção da saĆŗde no trabalho digital.
ABSTRACT In the context of increasingly digitalized work environments, understanding their impact on workers' psychosocial well-being becomes crucial. This dissertation aimed to describe workers' perspectives on the impact of digital work on their well-being, job satisfaction, engagement, and productivity, and to identify its predictors. A quantitative, descriptive, correlational, and inferential study was conducted with a sample of 85 employees from the Portuguese Authority for Working Conditions, who responded to an online questionnaire. The instrument included validated scales to assess techno-stress, digital well-being, job satisfaction, and engagement. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS, version 30.0. The results indicated moderate levels of techno-stress, with emphasis on technological fatigue and anxiety. Reasonable levels of digital well-being, engagement, and job satisfaction were found, although affected by factors such as techno-invasion and technological complexity. Significant differences were observed in terms of gender, age, and length of service. Regression analyses revealed that fatigue, complexity, and role overload are significant predictors of techno-stress, while engagement and productivity positively predict job satisfaction. In conclusion, digitalization, while promoting efficiency, can also pose psychosocial risks. Organizations must implement preventive and health-promoting measures for digital work environments.
