Resumo I (Prática Pedagógica) - O presente trabalho insere-se no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Estágio do Ensino Especializado, parte do Mestrado em Ensino da Música da Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. Descreve e reflete sobre a prática educativa levada a cabo na Escola Profissional de Artes da Covilhã, EPABI, ao longo de todo o ano letivo de 2016/2017. Iniciaremos com a apresentação da instituição e os cursos nela ministrados; traçaremos o perfil académico e biográfico dos alunos observados; descreveremos as práticas educativas desenvolvidas no processo ensino/aprendizagem, bem como os princípios e métodos pedagógicos que o norteiam e, por fim; faremos um balanço crítico e reflexivo sobre toda a atividade docente realizada.
Resumo II (Investigação) - Ensinar a formar uma embocadura é um ato complexo e de enorme responsabilidade. Dessa ação pode florescer uma carreira brilhante ou uma permanente fonte de preocupações. Refazer uma embocadura é voltar ao princípio. É reconstruir um caminho que deixou memória física e emocional. Recomeçar, levando na bagagem apenas incertezas e imponderáveis. Estão os trompetistas, os professores, os alunos e as famílias preparados para tal viagem? O que devem saber? O que podem esperar? Procuraremos responder a estas e a outras questões, buscando uma visão pluridisciplinar do assunto. Alargaremos o debate à comunidade trompetística, recorrendo a inquéritos por questionário enviados a professores e trompetistas e ilustraremos a nossa reflexão com um inusitado “um quase estudo de caso”. Entrevistaremos trompetistas que alteraram as suas embocaduras e procuraremos a opinião de uma psicóloga clínica especializada no trabalho com jovens músicos.
Abstract I (Teaching) - The present work falls within the scope of the Curricular Unit of Specialized Education, part of the Masters in Music Teaching of the Superior School of Music of Lisbon. Describes and reflects on the educational practice carried out at the Covilhã Professional School of Arts, EPABI, throughout the academic year 2016/2017. In it is presented the institution and the courses that minister; Includes the academic and biographical profile of the students observed; Shows the educational practices developed in the teaching / learning process; Justifies the principles and pedagogical methods that guide it, and finally; Makes a critical and reflexive balance on all the teaching activity carried out.
Abstract II (Research) - Teaching how to form an embouchure is a complex and enormously responsible act. From this action, a brilliant career or a permanent source of worry can flourish. To redo an embouchure is to go back to the beginning. It is rebuilding a path that left physical and emotional memory. Starting over, carrying only uncertainties and imponderables in the baggage. Are the trumpet players, the teachers, the students and their families prepared for such a trip? What should they know? What can they expect? We will try to answer these and other questions, seeking a multidisciplinary view of the subject. We will extend the debate to the trumpet playing community, using questionnaires sent to teachers and trumpeters and will illustrate our reflection with an unexpected “almost a case study". We will interview trumpeters who have altered their embouchures and will seek the opinion of a clinical psychologist who is specialized in working with young musicians.
