Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT - within the scope of the Masters Course in Dance Teaching, taught by the Superior Dance Scholl, Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, this Internship Report is entitled 'The Floor Barre as an en dehors training tool in dance technique classes in the 1st year Ana Mangericão Dance School '. The Internship developed in the 2018/19 school year with the students of the 1st year of Ana Mangericão Dance School, had as its teaching area the Classical Dance Technique, more specifically, the physical preparation for dance. Based on the rationale that guided the elaboration of the methodological proposal, the general objective was to implement a moment to promote external rotation of the lower limb at the hip joint level, using the Boris Kniaseff floor bar method. From this premise it was possible to identify the specific objectives that would lead to the improvement of the external rotation of the lower limb at the hip joint level. After reviewing the literature supporting the theoretical foundation, reading the perspectives of the different reference authors and analysing the interview, the with the cooperating teacher, observation tables and flexibility assessment, it was possible to collect relevant data in the field through the action research methodology and was able to conclude the existence of a floor bar moment during the classical dance technique classes (in the 1st year of Ana Mangericão Dance School), structured to allow the development of the physical and psychological skills necessary for the correct execution of the technique. , contributed to a greater muscular and skeletal awareness of the students as well as to evaluate their evolution and detect injuries that may condition the healthy growth of the student, as well as their correct technical and artistic development.
