Abstract(s)
O exposto documento consiste em uma investigação realizada no âmbito do Trabalho
de Projeto Se Eu Quiser Falar Com Deus – argumento para longa-metragem de ficção que
acompanha a jornada espiritual de um homem de fé que vive uma crise dentro de um seminário
religioso contemporâneo. Essa investigação tem como objetivo contextualizar o argumento,
bem como examinar os temas e subtemas que o permeiam à luz de um estudo de personagem
que é caracterizado pelo seu teor religioso. Na primeira parte será apresentada a bibliografia
fundamental que reflete sobre o ato de desenvolver um personagem santo na ficção; depois será
discutida a convergência entre ficção e religião e como esta repercute no ato de criar um
personagem deste tipo; será comentada a pesquisa de campo através das entrevistas realizadas
com um padre católico; assim como será traçado um panorama da trajetória do protagonista de
Se Eu Quiser Falar Com Deus. Por fim, será feita uma análise detalhada sobre os protagonistas
de dois filmes de Robert Bresson que serviram como referência para o desenvolvimento do
trabalho de projeto. A articulação entre a reflexão teórica, o trabalho de campo realizado e o
argumento fílmico é imprescindível, tendo em vista que eles trabalham juntos em prol de um
só objetivo e unidade.
ABSTRACT - The exposed document consists of an investigation carried out within the scope of the project Se Eu Quiser Falar Com Deus - a fictional feature film screenplay that follows the spiritual journey of a man of faith who experiences a crisis within a contemporary religious seminary. This investigation aims to contextualize the screenplay, as well as to examine the themes and subthemes that permeate it in the light of a character study that is distinguished by its religious nature. The first part presents the fundamental bibliography that reflects on the act of developing a saintly character in fiction; then the convergence between fiction and religion and how it affects the act of creating a character of this type will be discussed; the field research will be commented on through interviews with a catholic priest; as well as an overview of the trajectory of the main character of Se Eu Quiser Falar Com Deus. Finally, it will be exposed a detailed analysis of the main characters of two Robert Bresson films that served as reference for the development of the project. The articulation between the theoretical reflection, the field work carried out and the screenplay is essential, considering that they work together in favor of a single objective and unity.
