Os hospitais necessitam de implementar ferramentas de gestão de tecnologias médicas para atingir objetivos institucionais e promover a segurança, qualidade e eficácia clínicas. Das ferramentas necessárias incluem-se as que gerem as substituições dos equipamentos médicos hospitalares. No Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Central (CHULC), as substituições de equipamentos nem sempre ocorrem de forma planeada. Além do CHULC ter um plano, este é pouco criterioso. Para resolver este problema, este trabalho propõe uma ferramenta de substituição alternativa às já existentes, capaz de informar o hospital, de forma clara e metodológica, da necessidade de substituição que atualmente qualquer tipo de equipamentos apresenta.
ABSTRACT - Hospitals need to implement medical technology management tools to achieve institutional goals and promote clinical safety, quality, and effectiveness. The necessary tools include those that manage the replacement of hospital medical equipment. At the University Hospital Center of Central Lisbon, equipment replacements do not always occur in a planned manner. Besides the CHULC having a plan, this plan is not very thorough. To solve this problem, this work proposes an alternative replacement tool to the existing ones, capable of informing the hospital, in a clear and methodological way, of the need for replacement that currently presents any type of equipment.
