Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT: This report was prepared under the Master in Dance Teaching of Escola Superior de Dança - Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa. The practical application of this report took place in Academia de Dança do Vale do Sousa, in Paredes, with a 4th year class (8th grade) of artistic education in dance, articulated system, during the academic year 2015/2016, integrated in Classical Dance Technique discipline. This stage aimed to achieve progress and the strengthening of turnout in all positions (flexed and extended) studied by class in Classical Dance Technique discipline. Following the methodology research-action, after being identified the problem of the turnout (external rotation of the lower limbs), it was possible to conduct a rigorous analysis and reasoned this same problem and improve it in the attended classroom lessons, using various teaching strategies, collection and processing of data. Thus, new skills were developed in the researcher/intern in particular reflective and interventional, that allowed to act fairly, in the later stages of implementation. The image recording and films made throughout this stage, as well as the results of the periodic reviews show, in general, the effectiveness of the strategies used, such as, theoretical exposure anatomy content and human physiology, necessary for understanding the movement of turnout with images feature as well as the application of strengthening/flexibility exercises of the hip joint and the use of props. The theme of this work helps to raise students' awareness of the importance of correct posture and alignment and the correct use of the turnout in practice (that we want safe) of classical dance.
