Resumo I - Prática Pedagogia - Este trabalho tem como finalidade a descrição e a caracterização de todas as etapas da prática pedagógica (adiante designada por estágio), realizada no Conservatório de Música de Cascais (CMC), no ano letivo de 2015/2016. Em primeiro lugar, será feito um enquadramento histórico
do estabelecimento de ensino onde decorreu o estágio, serão apresentadas algumas práticas
educativas desenvolvidas, nomeadamente ao nível de rotinas diárias de exercícios fundamentais
do estudo do trompete. O presente relatório incidirá sobre o trabalho desenvolvido com três
alunos de diferentes níveis de ensino. Estes serão analisados ao nível de desempenho
demonstrado ao nível das competências motoras, auditivas e expressivas. Os recursos utilizados
foram gravações, planos de aulas e planificações anuais. Por último, será feita uma análise
crítica da atividade docente, onde serão analisados e discutidos os aspetos positivos e negativos,
finalizando com uma conclusão de toda a parte pedagógica.
Resumo II - Investigação - Após a apresentação e elucidação da Prática Pedagógica, será descrito o processo do projeto de investigação. Este dirá respeito à definição da importância que a execução de buzzing tem no desenvolvimento de competências técnico-mecânicas necessárias á obtenção da proficiência no trompete. No contexto internacional do ensino do trompete não existe coerência quanto ao papel desempenhado pelo buzzing na aquisição de competências, verificando-se ser uma prática aclamada por uns e desconsiderada por outros. Perante esta observação, e com intuito de desmitificar a controvérsia existente, recorreu-se ao conhecimento dos docentes de trompete em Portugal de forma a obter-se uma ação pedagógica mais assertiva em relação á temática em questão. Nesta secção do relatório, apresentar-se-á uma breve descrição geral do projeto de investigação, seguidamente, na revisão da literatura será caracterizada a temática em estudo, contextualizando as várias ações/ intervenções pedagógicas que investigadores e pedagogos praticam em relação à execução de vibração de lábios e vibração com bocal. Na parte da metodologia, serão apresentadas as etapas da investigação, nomeadamente a conceção e implementação do inquérito por questionário autoadministrado. Na última parte, serão expostos os resultados dos dados obtidos no inquérito. Por fim, serão apresentadas as conclusões e considerações finais onde se constituirá uma reflexão sobre os resultados encontrados.
Abstract I - Teaching -This work aims at the description and characterization of all the steps of the pedagogic practice (later designated as internship), held in Conservatório de Música de Cascais (CMC) in the academic year of 2015/2016. First, a historical framing of the educational establishment where the teaching was held will be made, then, some developed educational practices will be presented, particularly in terms of daily routines of fundamental exercises to the study of trumpet. This report will focus on the work with three students from different levels of education. Their performance will be evaluated, especially on their motor, expressive and hearing competence. The resources used were recordings, class plans and annual plans. Finally, a critical analysis of the teaching performance will be made. In order to do so, the positive and negative aspects will be analyzed and discussed, ending with a conclusion of the whole pedagogic part.

This will concern the definition of the importance that buzzing has on the development of technical and mechanical skills required to obtain the proficiency on trumpet. On the international context to the teaching of trumpet there is no coherence in the role played by buzzing in acquiring skills, being seen as a practice used by some and unconsidered by others. Given this observation, and aiming to demystify the existing controversy, the knowledge of the Portuguese trumpet teachers was used in order to get an assertive pedagogic action, related to the theme in question. On this section of the report will presented a brief overview of the research project, then, on the literature review, the theme in study will be characterized, contextualizing the several actions/pedagogic interventions that researchers and educators practice relating to the implementation of free buzzing and mouth piece buzzing. Regarding the methodology, the steps of research will be presented, namely the making and implementation of the self-administered survey. The last part will consist on the presentation of the results obtained in the survey. The conclusions and final considerations that will include a reflection on the obtained results are going to be presented in the end.
