Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT - This work project encompasses an essay-film script and a theoretical reflection upon such script - a text that wishes to become a film. Thus, there are two orders of problematization: a theoretical one, which formulates questions, and a practical one, as on how to phrase such questions in film terms. The reflection intends to be a crossing of theoretical and practical exercise, stamning from an imperative desire for expression, coming from a personal experience in a context of amorous relationships. Throughout this process, I've written a series of poems entitled Love-polyamory-beginnings-endings and was able to share the ongoing experience with resident friends of Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon. Stemming from this poetic text and the sharing of experiences, I began to elaborate on this film project which seeks to transmute the intimate experience into a common one, presenting the attached script as a practical artistic object. As of it, and deploying a decomposition method, I sought to question and unfold the issue of creating such passages between these two types of voices: intimate and common. This came to be through studying some key concepts that appear as chapters in this work: Essay-Film and Heterobiography; Word, Voice, and Polyphony: Memory, Ruin and Non-Place. All of this not without first explaining my point of view on amorous relationships. With these two orders of problematization, I seek to respond to the problem, above all, in an essay-like manner.
