Resumo(s)

Colour fundus photography shows a well-demarcated hyperpigmented peripheral lesion. Fluorescein angiography reveals a hypofluorescent lesion with venous dragging at its centre and no disc leakage. Optical coherence tomography B-scan through the lesion shows hyaloidal fibrosis with focal adhesion to the chorioretinal scar, without evidence of choroidal neovascularisation. Secondary healing with fibrosis and chorioretinal atrophy, along with vascular dragging and adhesion of the posterior hyaloid within this fibrous response, are part of the healing process in toxoplasmosis and may occur without choroidal neovascularisation.
