Este relatório de estágio foi desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Jornalismo da Escola Superior de Comunicação Social de Lisboa, com o objetivo de atingir a obtenção do grau de mestre.
Resulta de um estágio curricular de três meses, realizado entre 1 de fevereiro e 30 de abril de 2016, no jornal Público e tem como objeto de estudo a produção de notícias (newsmaking) na secção Mundo do mesmo jornal.
O objetivo desta investigação é compreender os principais constrangimentos no processo de produção noticiosa. As metodologias utilizadas para este fim foram a análise documental, a observação participante, a entrevista e a análise de conteúdo ao nível dos valores-notícia.
ABSTRACT: This internship report has been developed as part of a master in Journalism at Higher School of Communication and Media Studies (ESCS) of Lisbon, with the goal of achieving the master degree. It is the result of a three month internship, between February 1st and April 30th of 2016, at Público newspaper, in which the newsmaking in the World Section was the subject of study. The purpose of this investigation is to understand the main constraints in the process of newsmaking. The used methodologies for this end were documental analysis, participant observation, interview and content analysis of news values.
