Abstract(s)
O estudo desenvolvido, no âmbito da educação artística, de natureza qualitativa e interpretativa, situa-se no contexto da Educação Pré-Escolar.
Partindo de um conhecimento experiencial de uma dada realidade, observou-se, que por vezes, é atribuído à Arte, um valor secundário, sendo esta área explorada sem uma intencionalidade baseada num conhecimento teórico/prático. Em paralelo, é também constado, já mesmo a partir do Pré-Escolar, o facto de o processo de ensino/aprendizagem, ser desenvolvido de forma pouco articulada entre os vários domínios do saber. Assim, pretendeu-se com o presente estudo, numa dinâmica teórico/prática, compreender o potencial da Arte/Expressão Plástica, nas práticas educativas, bem como explorar a possibilidade de um cruzamento interdisciplinar da referida área, com o domínio da Matemática/Geometria.
A recolha de dados empíricos ocorreu numa sala de Jardim de Infância da rede pública, situada em Rio de Mouro. Ao analisar e interpretar os dados recolhidos através de uma observação naturalista direta, poderá ser aferida a importância de um trabalho planeado e sistemático, ao nível da Arte/Expressão Plástica, no desenvolvimento de conhecimentos e competências pessoais. Poderá igualmente constatar-se o impacto que uma determina seleção de obras de arte, poderá ter a vários níveis, inclusive, na possibilidade efetiva de articular dois domínios: a Arte/Expressão Plástica e a Matemática/Geometria.
A valorização da literacia artística, enquanto matéria curricular a ser aprendida, revela-se um vasto campo de oportunidades de aprendizagem e desenvolvimento pessoal e social, contribuindo, entre outros aspetos, para que a escola tenha um importante papel, no sentido fomentar uma verdadeira igualdade de oportunidades.
Abstract The developed study ,in the field of art education, a qualitative and interpretative nature, lies in the context of Pré School Education from an experimental knowledge of a certain reality, Art is seen as a secondary importance, without any theoretical/practical knowledge on the subject. It´s also known, since Pré School, that the process of teaching and learning is made in such a way where there is little association between the various files of knowledge. Thus, this study attempts to understand not only the potential of Art/Artistic Expression in educational practices, but also explore the possibility of an interdisciplinary intersection in the field of Mathematics/Geometry. Empirical data collection took place in kindergarten in Rio de Mouro. By analyzing the data collected through the direct naturalistic observation, we can measure the importance of a systematic work to the level of Art/Plastic Expression, in the development of personal skills. One can also find the impact that a particular selection of works of art should have in various levels, including the effective possibility of joining both domains: Art/Plastic Expression and Mathematic/Geometry. The value of artistic literacy as curricular knowledge, acquires a wide range of learning opportunities and of personal and social development. School should have an important role in order to give equal opportunities to children.
