Abstract(s)
O presente relatório, elaborado no âmbito da Prática Profissional Supervisionada
projeto.
chegar a algumas conclusões: i) as crianças do grupo adquiriram conhecimento cultural
ABSTRACT The present academic report, developed within Supervised Professional Practice II, has the purpose of analysing, in a critical and reflective way, about the undergone journey experienced in the context of Kindergarten, during approximately four months. Throughout the study are presented evidences of the pedagogical practice, as well as an experimental investigation, with the objective of exposing how the traditional Handicraft, that can be found in the region of Alentejo (Portugal), which makes use of clay as its main source for the creation of art pieces, can contribute to the cultural knowledge of a group of children, by doing a study about the theme. It also means to contribute for the perception of how the activities, inherent to the project, can harness the stimulation of artistical education in these children. The data gathering was done through direct observation, with the support of a journal with field notes, as well as indirect observation – audio-visual recordings of the project activities. This was proceeded by data analysis, in a qualitative way, that allowed to achieve some conclusions: i) the children of the group obtained cultural knowledge through contact with the artisans and their artisanal tools, physically and through videos and photos; ii) developed their artistic expression through the many activities that went along the project, acquiring knowledge of artistic techniques that were applied later on other activities, made out of the project; iii) the work done contributed for the development of the children’s ability to reuse different materials and iv) promoted the development of the mathematics domain and the written and oral language domain.
