| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to analyze, in the perception of final year students, to what extent the practices of the accounting courses of first cycle degrees is aligned to the skills required by the current society of knowledge. This study is based on a quantitative approach, covering 345 final year students of first cycle degrees of accounting courses in Portuguese higher education institutions. The analysis of the results allowed us to conclude that, capacity of reasoning and the lifelong learning capacity are the less developed general skills. On the other hand, capacity to comply with deadlines and rules and capacity to structure a management panel with useful information for decision-making are the less developed specific skills. | pt_PT |
