Abstract(s)
O presente relatório surge no âmbito da Unidade Curricular Prática Profissional Supervisionada II (PPS II), para a obtenção do grau de Mestre em Educação Pré-Escolar e tem como objetivo apresentar uma reflexão sistemática do meu percurso na prática pedagógica enquanto estagiária em contexto de jardim de infância (JI), que decorreu entre o período de 18 de outubro de 2021 e 4 de março de 2022.
Relativamente à investigação, apresenta como problemática a perspetiva das crianças sobre a participação das famílias no jardim de infância que surgiu após observação das dinâmicas familiares na organização socioeducativa onde decorreu a PPS II e cujo principal objetivo é compreender o que as crianças pensam sobre a presença das suas famílias no JI.
No que diz respeito às opções metodológicas, a investigação assume uma natureza qualitativa com recurso ao estudo de caso, numa perspetiva exploratória e com recurso a diferentes técnicas de recolhas de dados tais como: a observação participante, consulta documental e conversas informais com as crianças.
Com o presente estudo foi possível concluir que as crianças tendem a apreciar a presença das suas famílias na sala de atividades, das propostas de atividades dinamizadas pelas mesmas e que tal participação potencia a participação das crianças.
ABSTRACT This report is part of the Curricular Unit Supervised Professional Practice II (PPS II), to obtain a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and aims to present a systematic reflection of my path and pedagogical practice as a trainee in a kindergarten context, which took place between October 18, 2021 and March 4, 2022. Regarding the investigation, it presents as a problem “the children's perspective on the participation of families in kindergarten” that emerged after observing the family dynamics in the socio-educational organization where the internship took place and whose objectives are i) to understand what children think about the visits/activities promoted by their families and ii) understand how the conversations within the family arise that lead families to want to stimulate an activity. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation that we are still experiencing, and the various interruptions related to isolation and the momentary impediment of families to enter the socio-educational organization, this second objective was left unanswered. With regard to methodological options, the research assumes a qualitative nature using the case study, in an exploratory perspective and using different data collection techniques such as: participant observation, document consultation and informal conversations with children. With the present study, it was possible to conclude that children tend to appreciate the presence of their families in the activities room, the proposed activities promoted by them and that such participation enhances the children's participation.
